About The Position
Lifemark Sport Medicine - Genesis Place is seeking a passionate Massage Therapist dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Canadians. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference by expanding access to care and creating lasting impact in the communities served. The clinic is a multidisciplinary sports medicine clinic focused on evidence-based, patient-centered care, located inside Genesis Place Recreation Centre. It features a fully equipped rehabilitation gym, dedicated treatment spaces, and an on-site Sport Medicine Physician clinic, fostering a collaborative environment. As a Lifemark Registered Massage Therapist, you will be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, empowering individuals to overcome challenges, improve their mobility, and achieve their health goals. You will act as an educator, motivator, and problem-solver, lifting people up, meeting people where they are in their health journeys, sharing knowledge, and delivering top-quality, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Active license in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
- Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2+ years of clinic experience (preferred; new grads are encouraged to apply!).
Responsibilities
- Develop personalized, evidence-informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
- Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
- Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow.
- Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies.
