About The Position

The Medcan Clinic is recruiting for a skilled massage therapist to join our high-performing and fast-growing team of practitioners within Medcan’s Sports Medicine, Therapy and Rehabilitation service. This is an Independent Contractor position seeking a 2-3 (half days) commitment per week during business hours Monday - Saturday (9-5pm). The specific schedule/hours will be mutually determined and has some flexibility. We are currently hiring for the following clinic locations: York Mills (4120 Yonge Street) Markham (600 Cochrane Drive) Toronto (150 York Street)

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Massage Therapist
• Must be in good standing of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
• Must have appropriate professional liability insurance
• Must possess competency in multiple massage techniques; including but not limited to, Swedish massage, facial therapy, and trigger point therapy.

Responsibilities

• The provision of clinical massage therapy services
• Maintain complete and detailed clinical documentation and records
• Practice effective and timely inter-professional communication
• Ensure the highest quality of patient management and care
• Work alongside physicians, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, chiropodists and other massage therapists
