About The Position

The Chambers Center for Well Being is seeking a part-time Massage Therapist to join their team. This role involves performing massages according to policy and procedure, creating SOAP notes, and maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment room. The Massage Therapist will also have knowledge of other wellness services offered and may recommend complementary services and products to clients. Attendance at team meetings is also required.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited by the Commission on Massage Therapy Accreditation massage therapy program with a minimum of 500 hours of training in massage therapy
Nationally Certified or Board Certified Massage and Body work Therapist having completed the National Certification Exam
Minimum of 1-year experience in a medical setting
Additional certifications in 1 or more of the following areas are required: Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, Oncology Massage, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Excellent communications skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
Ability to read and interpret documents
Ability to speak effectively
Ability to work independently

Nice To Haves

Mindbody Software knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

Performs massages according to policy and procedure
Create SOAP notes in MindBody Software after each massage
Has knowledge of other wellness services at the Chambers Center
May examine client and recommend other services and products to complement their chief complaint and goals
Attend all team meetings
Maintain cleanliness and attention to detail in treatment room throughout shift
Other duties as assigned
