About The Position

Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, MO has an opening for a Massage Therapist at the Therapy and Wellness center. In this role, you will perform 15, 30, 45, 60, or 90-minute massages, including soft tissue, deep tissue, hot stone, facial massages, and foot scrubs. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours weekly, with two evenings until 7:00 pm and two Saturdays a month, swapping Fridays. The hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health care services to residents in Crawford, Franklin, and Washington counties. It has enhanced and expanded services with a state-of-the-art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multi-room surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center. A medical office building provides offices for primary care physicians and visiting specialists. The hospital also operates four rural health clinics, a comprehensive Therapy and Rehabilitation department, and an award-winning Wound Care Center. Physical, occupational, and speech therapies are offered at the Sullivan Sports Fitness & Rehabilitation Center, which provides an exercise specialist and massage therapist, and operates a fully equipped exercise facility open to the community. The Physical Rehab Dept is certified by the Missouri State Division of Workers' Compensation to treat occupational injuries.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• <2 years of experience
• No Supervisor Experience
• Licensed Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned massage therapy appointments and documentation according to department policies and standards of certified massage therapy.
• Assists the department manager in program development, improvement, techniques, and member education.
• Instructs and presents educational information approved by the department.
