About The Position

HealthFitness is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Massage Therapist to join the team at our corporate client site in North Chicago, Illinois (Lake County). This is a fantastic opportunity to provide relaxing, restorative services in a professional, low-stress environment. The role involves administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests, performing numerous massage modalities, and adjusting delivery mode to address the needs of each customer. The therapist will also be responsible for delivering on-site chair massage in a corporate setting, including incidental travel, set-up, and tear down, as well as working in a spa-like environment within a fitness center. The position requires functioning as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and supporting department-wide events and strategies.

Requirements

Massage Therapy License for the state of Illinois required.
Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
Experience in sports massage techniques.
Good communication skills; listening and verbal.

Responsibilities
