About The Position

The Marlene Meyerson Jewish Community Center in Manhattan is looking for dedicated part-time Massage Therapists to join the Wellness team. They are seeking individuals enthusiastic about delivering high-quality therapeutic services and building lasting connections with the community. Requirements

Valid New York State Massage Therapy License.
6 months-1 year of proven massage therapist experience.
Strong ability to attract new clients and build long-term relationships generate new business and retain clients.
In depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, and human movement.
Comfortable using computers and basic digital tools.
Good communication and positive energy.
Ability to stand, sit, push, and pull as required.

Responsibilities

Provide 25, 55, and 85-minute massage sessions including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal modalities.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment room between sessions and at the end of each shift.
