About The Position

As a Massage Therapist within our Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation team, you’ll play a key role in helping patients regain comfort, mobility, and improved quality of life. You’ll provide therapeutic, evidence-informed massage interventions tailored to each patient’s individualized care plan, supporting musculoskeletal function, circulation, and overall well-being.

Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Massage Therapy Program
Wisconsin Massage Therapist & Bodywork Therapist License (MTBT‑WI)
BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA or Red Cross, hands‑on)
2+ years of licensed massage therapy experience

Responsibilities

Conduct Health Histories — Review and update patient health histories before each session; identify contraindications and precautions.
Perform Clinical Massage Techniques — Deliver evidence-informed interventions including trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, pregnancy/prenatal massage, Swedish, and deep tissue techniques based on patient needs and your training.
Tailor Treatment Plans — Adjust pressure, modality, and approach to support pain reduction, mobility, circulation, and overall comfort.
Monitor & Respond — Observe patient responses, gather feedback, and modify techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Collaborate Clinically — Work within a multidisciplinary rehab environment, including chiropractors, aligning your interventions with patient care plans and clinical goals.
Document Patient Progress — Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
Protect Patient Privacy — Uphold HIPAA standards and safeguard all protected health information.
