About The Position

As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing Massage and Spa services to guests with unparalleled personalized service, professionalism, and exceptional knowledge in the field of the healing arts. You will provide all massages and spa treatments as outlined in The Auberge Resorts Collection protocol manual. You will assist in establishing and maintaining standards of excellence in professional image and services. You will assist fellow Spa team members with the overall operations of the spa to ensure guest and employee areas are well organized and meet Auberge Resorts standards of cleanliness. You will ensure all massage equipment is functioning properly and make recommendations for maintenance. You will work closely with the Lead Esthetician and the Spa Supervisor to collaborate on projects and share important spa information. You will maintain helpful, cooperative relations with co-workers. You will explain and promote all spa and resort facilities, services, and activities to guests, members, and staff. You will follow up with the Spa Manager on all comments, concerns, and suggestions made by staff, members, and resort guests. You will perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.

Requirements

• Certificate of completion from a state or nationally certified school of massage indicating a minimum of 750 hours of training in massage therapy.
• Current and active New Mexico Certification
• 4-6 years of experience as a Massage Therapist.
• Advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology, understanding of the relationship between the structure and function of the human body, understanding of the theory, contraindications and benefits of massage therapy.
• Must be available to work at least one weekend day (Saturdays and Sundays)
