The Massage Therapist position is responsible for providing each guest with excellent customer service, massages, and body treatments. This role requires administering expert massage and body treatments for various purposes and needs within a specific timeframe, while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude. The therapist will also be responsible for properly caring for equipment and products, communicating spa offerings, recommending and up-selling services, and handling guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. A commitment to continuing education and upholding all protocols for cleanliness and setup of treatment rooms is essential. The role also involves maintaining a clean, safe, stocked, and well-organized work area, including extensive in-between client cleaning procedures, and maintaining a well-maintained spa appearance. The therapist must be comfortable around guests who may be in a state of undress and perform other tasks as assigned by management. Regular attendance and the ability to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, are essential. The therapist must also comply with state board rules and regulations.
