About The Position
Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spas is committed to education, innovation, and making a difference for our clients and our communities. As a Train to Hire Massage Therapist, you will receive the state-required education and training hours for massage therapy through one of our partnered local programs. As a massage therapist, you can help relieve pain and stress with the power of your hands. Accepted students will gain practical knowledge, business training, and get real-world experience in a range of massage techniques. Successful completion and licensure as a massage therapist will result in job placement in Hand & Stone as a massage therapist. This is a wellness-focused career focused on creating treatment plans and healing others. A new career can be started in as little as 11 months depending on class schedules and student status. The profession offers job stability and is in high demand. Applicants are eligible for student sponsorship wherein spas will reimburse part or all of tuition fees after successful completion of program and employment in spa. Offer of employment is contingent on successful completion of a state-approved massage therapy program, required exams, and licensure. There are no restrictions to the program a student can attend, as long as it meets the state requirements for massage therapy education. Applicants are encouraged to research the local program of their choice.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for student sponsorship.
- Must successfully complete a state-approved massage therapy program.
- Must pass required exams.
- Must obtain licensure as a massage therapist.
- Must be able to attend Alpha School of Massage in Panama City or another state-approved program.
- Must complete school application forms and any required screening.
- Must be able to research local programs of choice.
