About The Position

Zermatt Resort & Spa is seeking a professional, experienced, and guest-focused Massage Therapist to join our Wellness Center team. The Massage Therapist is responsible for providing exceptional therapeutic and relaxation massage services while creating a welcoming, tranquil, and personalized experience for each guest. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in a variety of massage techniques, maintains the highest standards of professionalism and sanitation, and is committed to promoting relaxation, wellness, and exceptional guest service.

Requirements

  • Current Utah Massage Therapist license in good standing required.
  • Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
  • Knowledge of professional massage techniques, contraindications, anatomy, and wellness practices.
  • Excellent guest service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Professional appearance, demeanor, and commitment to guest confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform massage treatments throughout the scheduled shift.
  • Ability to use hands, arms, and upper body repetitively while performing massage services.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, and move supplies and equipment as necessary.
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with professional massage therapy.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous spa, resort, hotel, or luxury hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional massage therapy services in accordance with guest needs and established treatment protocols.
  • Consult with guests prior to treatments to identify preferences, areas of concern, contraindications, and desired outcomes.
  • Perform a variety of massage techniques within the therapist’s training, qualifications, and scope of practice.
  • Maintain a professional, relaxing, and guest-focused environment throughout each treatment.
  • Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, properly stocked, and prepared for each guest.
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, infection-control, and Wellness Center procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate guest confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
  • Educate guests regarding treatments, wellness services, and appropriate aftercare when applicable.
  • Assist with maintaining linens, supplies, treatment products, and equipment.
  • Communicate maintenance, safety, supply, or guest concerns promptly to Wellness Center leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with the Wellness Center team to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain punctuality and effectively manage treatment schedules and transition times between appointments.
  • Participate in required meetings, training, and professional development.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
