About The Position

Valor Hospitality is seeking passionate individuals to join their team as Massage Therapists/Estheticians. This role involves performing therapeutic massages to relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve well-being, as well as providing esthetician services. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, driven, and committed to delivering exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities include consulting with clients, developing personalized treatment plans, administering massages and esthetician services, educating clients on self-care, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
  • A current, valid state license or certification.
  • A deep understanding of the human body and its systems.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage appointment times effectively.
  • Ability to handle other business tasks.
  • Strength and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to apply pressure using various body parts (hands, fingers, elbows, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Perform therapeutic massages on clients to relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve physical and emotional well-being by manipulating soft tissues.
  • Consult with clients about their health history and needs, assessing their physical condition.
  • Create and perform customized treatment plans using various techniques.
  • Maintain accurate client records.
  • Educate clients on self-care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Prepare station for guests’ arrival.
  • Promptly greet guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide services in an exceptionally timely, safe, thorough and professional manner.
  • Perform services keeping guest satisfaction a priority while running on time for next guest appointment.
  • Maintain pleasant and professional conversation as lead by the guest.
  • Become familiar with guest names and acknowledges them by name.
  • Serve each guest on a one-to-one basis with utmost courtesy.
  • Be well versed with skin care ingredients and make appropriate retail recommendations.
  • Personalize all services and anticipates guest requests whenever possible.
  • Constantly display outstanding communication and guest relation skills.
  • Process dirty linens, fold, stock and put away clean linen.
  • Help maintain and clean all common areas of the spa both front and back of the house.
  • Help with deep cleaning duties and reorganization as needed and/or assigned.
  • Merchandising of retail product to include displaying, straightening and dusting of products.
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude in all interactions with guests, hotel staff and vendors.
  • Maintain a cooperative attitude in working with management and fellow team members.
  • Adhere to all Hotel and Spa standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
