About The Position

The Masker is responsible for applying protective shielding to surfaces of parts that do not require processing. This role ensures parts are processed accurately according to work orders, specifications, and technical drawings while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an aerospace processing environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Vision requirements: Near and distance
• Ability to hear average-level conversations
• Tactile sensitivity to handle delicate parts
• Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses
• Team Player: Works well as part of a group
• Enthusiastic: Shows eagerness and passion for the work
• Detail-Oriented: Executes tasks with precision and care
• Dedicated: Committed to responsibilities with integrity

Responsibilities

• Mask or shield surfaces of parts that do not require processing
• Process parts according to shop work orders, applicable specifications, and drawings
• Follow verbal and written instructions provided by the supervisor
• Inspect incoming parts for damage, scratches, or other defects
• Accurately complete work orders and all required paperwork
• Safely handle hazardous materials in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
