About The Position

Mid Continent Engineering is seeking a Masker/ Part Maker to join their team. This is a part-time opportunity, Monday through Thursday. Mid-Continent has been a supplier to first-tier OEMs within the medical, aerospace and defense industries for decades. Mid-Continent Engineering stuffs the armed forces supply chain with products of our capabilities such as precision machining, aerospace welding, chromate conversion, paint/powder coat finishing, mechanical assemblies, and other design-assist services.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
6 months of assembly or other production experience working in a manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, written instructions, and processing.

Responsibilities

Covers specified areas of metal parts to be painted according to blueprint specifications using tape, plugs and other fixtures.
Applies ink or glaze to mark parts using screens or stamps as required by blueprint specifications.
Touches up painted parts with paint as needed to ensure painted parts meet blueprint specifications.
Must maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
Assures and maintains a consistent, acceptable level of individual quality and performance.
Assists in the training of new employees.
Performs other duties as assigned
