This role is responsible for applying and removing all masking and plugging materials to customer product in a safe, productive manner in accordance with customer requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, comprehend and write English on documents such as work orders, safety instructions and dispositions of parts.
  • Ability to speak English sufficiently to allow for adequate communications in emergencies and to allow for effective cooperation with team mates.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Must be able to differentiate between color variance.

Nice To Haves

  • High-school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Performing masking methods based on customer product specifications.
  • Preparing raw material for masking to include, but not limited to hand wiping and blowing out holes.
  • Referencing blueprints to accurately assess masking requirements specified on print.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and requesting the purchase of supplies and materials to meet production requirements in a timely manner.
  • Assisting in the inspection of product and notifying the Team Leader/Supervisor of any non-conformances.
  • Recording masking details on the job ticket and any necessary information on the work order as required.
  • Packaging parts to safely transport to production areas.
  • Accurately completing necessary forms and adhering to scheduling due dates.
  • Working safely at all times and complying with all safety regulations while working with Hazardous materials and chemicals.
  • Maintaining equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Working with a positive attitude and reporting all questions or problems to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
  • Performing other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.
