About The Position

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa is seeking a Marshal Player Assistant-PT to join their team. This role is responsible for ensuring guests and members have an enjoyable golf experience through interactive customer service. Key duties include managing the pace of play, assisting guests with golf course knowledge, and maintaining the course by filling divots and repairing ball marks. Requirements

Knowledge of golf
Strong oral communication skills
A pleasant and energetic personality
Flexible schedule required
Must be able to work holidays/weekends
Valid driver’s license with clean DMV printout required

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of computers is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor pace of play on two golf courses.
Maintain accurate records of guest/member pace of play.
Providing tournament support including cart setup and breakdown, shuttle service and cart towing.
Assist guests and members with golf course information.
Enforce local golf course rules, and those of the club.
Communicate collected information with the golf shop on a regular basis.
Consistent use of member/guest names on course.
Fill divots and repair ball marks on course.
Assume starter duties from time to time.
Maintain positive and upbeat attitude.
Restock golf course supplies.
Ensure cleanliness levels are maintained at all times – picking up rubbish, straighten rope & stake, rake bunkers, etc.
