About The Position

Izzo Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) who is also a Certified Art Therapist. This role focuses on working with children, families, and individuals to facilitate positive life changes. The practice is dedicated to supporting vulnerable and underserved populations through difficult life experiences and transitions. Izzo is recognized as a valuable therapeutic resource for clients dealing with divorce, custody battles, early childhood issues, reunification, depression, anxiety, trauma, and for low-income and multilingual clients.

Requirements

• Must be located in California with offices in San Mateo and San Carlos.
• Hold an AMFT/ASW/APCC/LMFT/LCSW/LPCC license in California.
• Possess a growth mindset and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 clients scheduled per week, including notes, treatment plans, diagnoses, and clinical enrichment.
• Work a fully remote OR hybrid schedule of remote and in-person sessions.
• Collaborate with other clinicians and leverage provided resources, training, and coaching for professional and personal growth.
• Work with young children and receive training and support to become an effective child therapist.
• Meet with supervisor for weekly group and individual supervision (if applicable).
• Attend company meetings and individual Professional Development meetings.
