About The Position

Izzo Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking a MFT Certified Art Therapist who is passionate about working with children and families to help them change the trajectory of their lives. The practice focuses on supporting vulnerable, underserved populations through difficult experiences and transitions, and is recognized as a valuable resource for clients dealing with divorce, custody battles, young children, reunification, depression, anxiety, trauma, and low-income or multilingual clients. Izzo fosters a supportive culture where clinicians are invested in as whole persons, encouraging collaboration, feedback, and professional growth.

Requirements

• Located in California - offices in San Mateo and San Carlos
• Hold an AMFT/ASW/APCC/LMFT/LCSW/LPCC license in California

Responsibilities

• Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 clients scheduled per week, including notes, treatment plans, dx, and clinical enrichment.
• Work a fully remote OR hybrid schedule of remote and in-person sessions in offices located in San Mateo, CA and San Carlos, CA.
• Collaborate with other clinicians and engage in continuous learning.
• Receive training and support to become an effective child therapist.
• Meet with supervisor for weekly group and individual supervision (if applicable).
• Attend company meetings and individual Professional Development meetings.
