About The Position

Izzo Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking a Marriage and Family Therapist who is a Certified Art Therapist to join their team. This role involves working with children, parents, and families, helping them navigate difficult experiences and transitions. The practice focuses on supporting vulnerable, underserved populations and is recognized for its work with clients experiencing divorce, custody battles, children under five, reunification, depression, anxiety, trauma, and those who are low income and multilingual. Clinicians are expected to have an entrepreneurial mindset, maintain a minimum caseload, and work a hybrid schedule. Requirements

  • Located in California - offices in San Mateo and San Carlos
  • Hold an AMFT/ASW/APCC/LMFT/LCSW/LPCC license in California

  • AMFT/APCC/ASW OR LMFT/LPCC/LCSW number (Required)
  • Must be available for a hybrid work schedule that includes both in-office and remote sessions.
  • At least three days per week from 12:00 PM–8:00 PM, with a scheduled break from 2:00–3:00 PM
  • Remote: Two days per week, with availability from 12:00 PM–8:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 25 clients scheduled per week, including notes, treatment plans, diagnoses, and clinical enrichment.
  • Work a hybrid schedule of remote and in-person sessions in offices located in San Mateo, CA and San Carlos, CA.
  • Strive to find joy and excitement in learning and collaborate with other curious minds.
  • Take advantage of offered resources, training, and coaching for professional and personal development.
  • Be open to working with young children and receive training to become a skilled child therapist.
  • Meet with supervisor for weekly group and individual supervision (if applicable).
  • Attend company meetings and individual Professional Development meetings.
