About The Position

Wells Fargo Corporate & Investment Banking delivers a comprehensive suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services to over 12,000 clients around the world, including over 90% of the S&P 500. Markets Offers a comprehensive set of capital market products and solutions to the broader Wells Fargo customer base, ranging from underwriting and distribution of public debt, private debt, foreign exchange, and equity products to hedging interest rates, commodity, and equity risks. The Markets Analyst Program is a two-year experience designed for undergraduates beginning their career in markets. You will be aligned to a business group, where you will contribute to daily client activity, strengthen technical skills, and collaborate with colleagues across origination trading, sales, origination, and research teams. The program begins with six to eight weeks of structured training covering accounting, valuation, credit analysis, structuring, and market analysis. Your training will include classroom sessions, case studies, and desk immersion, followed by continued development through mentorship and feedback.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Markets experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Bachelor’s degree with expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Strong academic achievement
  • Demonstrated interest in finance and financial markets
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proven ability to take on significant responsibility
  • Relevant internship experience
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who do not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future
  • Must successfully complete and pass a FINRA background check prior to hire
  • Must meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Booking and managing daily trades
  • Supporting pricing, risk monitoring, and trade execution
  • Conducting research and data analysis to support market-making and client flow
  • Preparing research presentations and market trend analyses
  • Contributing to derivatives transactions and valuation frameworks
