About The Position

Solais Lighting is seeking a Marketing Strategist to enhance and expand its digital marketing initiatives. This position will be instrumental in managing social media, email campaigns, website content, SEO, analytics, and campaign planning for a rapidly growing architectural lighting manufacturer. The role involves direct collaboration with the VP of Marketing and cross-functional teamwork with sales, operations, engineering, and leadership to transform technical product details into compelling and effective marketing materials. The ideal candidate will possess strategic thinking abilities, strong writing skills, a data-driven approach to performance measurement, and a commitment to developing scalable marketing processes. Prior knowledge of architectural lighting is not required, as the company is prepared to provide training in this area; the focus is on the candidate's thinking, learning aptitude, and B2B marketing approach.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of marketing experience.
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with B2B marketing, preferably in manufacturing, architectural products, building products, commercial interiors, technology, industrial products, or another technical industry.
  • Experience with social media, email marketing, website content, SEO, and campaign reporting.
  • Comfort reviewing data and turning it into useful recommendations.
  • Curiosity, organization, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage and own multiple projects and tasks without losing attention to detail.
  • Interest in building something, not just maintaining what already exists.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and help grow Solais’ digital presence across LinkedIn, email, and web.
  • Plan and support marketing campaigns for product launches, company news, customer stories, and industry topics.
  • Write and edit LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, website copy, blog-style content, case studies, and landing page content.
  • Build and optimize monthly email campaigns.
  • Support SEO through keyword research, content updates, metadata, and website improvements.
  • Track performance across website, email, and social media.
  • Recommend A/B tests and campaign improvements based on results.
  • Help organize marketing assets, workflows, and reporting.
  • Create and document repeatable processes that make the marketing department more efficient and scalable.
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, engineering, and leadership on marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with other marketing, showroom, tradeshow, office, and customer-facing needs as they come up.
