About The Position

The Marketing Strategist is responsible for managing assigned marketing campaigns, including the execution of campaign strategies, day-to-day campaign management, advertising displays and channels, budget allocation, and ensuring continuity and completion of efforts. This role also supports broader Marketing team initiatives and strategies, and produces appropriate and accurate reports. The position requires developing and pitching ideas for new growth and retention campaigns, coordinating content to improve brand awareness, assisting with digital content management (website pages, email content, blogs), and coordinating with graphic designers for marketing collateral. Additionally, the role involves assessing and adjusting paid advertising campaigns, reviewing and submitting invoices, creating reports on marketing KPIs, managing marketing requests, and communicating campaign status updates. A strong emphasis is placed on adhering to the Bank's information security guidelines, protecting confidential information, and maintaining awareness of relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Team members are expected to be professional, teachable, flexible, approachable, helpful, and provide excellent service to all customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Marketing, communications, social media, digital advertising, content, or related experience sufficient for the applicable Marketing Strategist level
  • Ability to operate office equipment, telephones, and computers
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, in person, in writing, and on the computer
  • Ability to hear, speak, and understand verbal communication
  • Ability to read, write, count, and perform basic math functions
  • Ability to move head, shoulders, neck, and arms freely (e.g. operation of office equipment)
  • Ability to use manual dexterity and fine manipulation for operating a keyboard, using equipment, filing, etc.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds, grasp, reach, and pull
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time; standing and walking periodically

  • 1-2 years’ experience relevant to the position such as marketing, communications, social media, digital advertising, content, or related experience sufficient to learn assigned duties

  • Strong written communication, organization, accuracy, and customer service skills.
  • At least three (3) years of marketing, communications, digital advertising, social media, content development, or related experience
  • Working understanding of campaign execution, social media content, website updates, digital advertising performance, reporting, knowledge of analytics platforms, and collateral coordination
  • Ability to independently manage routine campaign details, content requests, invoices, reports, and vendor or internal coordination.
  • At least five (5) years of marketing, communications, digital advertising, social media, content development, or related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of campaign strategy, brand management, digital advertising optimization, analytics, reporting, website content, collateral coordination, and compliance expectations
  • Ability to handle complex campaigns, escalated requests, budget-related guidance, and project workflow independently.

  • Advanced experience with campaign performance analysis, paid digital advertising optimization, website content, and brand reputation initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor others and serve as a resource for complex marketing projects, escalated requests, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and pitch ideas for new growth and retention campaigns.

  • Communicate campaign status updates in an effective and professional manner.
  • Review the Bank’s information security guidelines regularly and avoid activity that could expose the Bank to malware, scams, and fraud.
  • Protect confidential information and assist the Bank in ensuring all sensitive information is handled appropriately.
  • Maintain an active awareness and understanding of policies, procedures, designated authorities, regulations, and laws.
  • Communicate openly with supervisors and other management about policies, procedures, work conduct, and job functions.
  • Address questions about suspected violations of policy and procedure with your supervisor.
  • Participate in training sessions and policy updates as necessary.
  • Maintain focus and professionalism at work.
  • Work scheduled and other needed hours at the designated location(s).
  • Assist Management with scheduling and other issues as directed.
