About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Marketing Specialist to support the execution of our marketing initiatives for Americase and HazMat Safety Consulting brands. This role focuses on social media management, maintaining marketing calendars and schedules, building monthly newsletters, tracking performance, and providing support for tradeshows and thought leadership activities. This position plays a critical part in driving social media presence, maintaining organized marketing execution, and supporting thought leadership efforts to increase brand visibility and lead generation for our growing business. It is designed for professional growth and development, offering opportunities to build specialized marketing skills, gain hands-on experience in B2B industrial marketing, and advance within a growing company. This role is structured as a defined path toward a Marketing Manager position, with increasing ownership of marketing strategy, campaign development, and thought leadership as skills and organizational trust are established.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B or manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, email marketing tools, content scheduling software, and Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and proofreading ability.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with marketing, sales, and subject matter experts.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Zoho or similar), SharePoint, and basic graphic design tools is a plus.
  • Comfort using AI tools to assist with content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day social media efforts by drafting all social media copy, developing engaging graphics via branded templates, scheduling posts across platforms, and consistently monitoring engagement, comments, shares, and mentions.
  • Post timely and professional replies, respond to audience interactions, and share relevant content as appropriate to build community and brand visibility.
  • Develop and implement a social listening strategy across all brand channels — monitoring mentions, keywords, competitor activity, and industry conversations in real time — to proactively identify and engage brand advocates, amplify positive sentiment, and build a community of loyal followers and industry champions. Establish response protocols that ensure timely, on-brand replies to comments, questions, and direct messages across all platforms, and create a systematic approach to recognizing and nurturing relationships with advocates, partners, and subject matter experts who actively promote and share Americase and HazMat Safety Consulting content.
  • Create and refresh social media and email content (leveraging AI tools where appropriate) for recurring tradeshows, events, and nurture campaigns.
  • Assist with proofing social media and product-related content.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives by helping identify opportunities, drafting supporting social content, and amplifying executive or SME posts, articles, and speaking engagements across social channels.
  • Provide comprehensive support for tradeshow planning and logistics, including researching events, tracking submission deadlines for speaking engagements, and coordinating promotional activities.
  • Assist with booth preparation, shipping of materials, ordering tradeshow-related items, and ensuring all assets (graphics, presentations, promotional materials) are up-to-date and branded consistently.
  • Support on-site execution as needed, including setup coordination and follow-up activities.
  • Track and report on tradeshow-related expenses and timelines to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Coordinate with external vendors including printers, promotional product suppliers, booth logistics providers, and freight companies to ensure on-time delivery and within-budget execution of tradeshow materials.
  • Support the planning and execution of webinars, virtual events, and Americase-hosted training programs — including platform coordination (registration, reminders, recording, post-event follow-up), speaker logistics, and promotional support across email and social channels.
  • Maintain and populate the master marketing calendar with all planned and new activities.
  • Develop posting schedules for social media and other promotional activities related to tradeshows, events, and campaigns.
  • Ensure balanced cadences and timing across all communications to avoid audience overload while maintaining a holistic view of planned activities.
  • Update calendar entries as schedules or events change.
  • Monitor and ensure all scheduled communications (blogs, videos, social posts, emails, etc.) are posted or sent as planned; promptly alert stakeholders of any issues or delays.
  • Build monthly newsletters for Americase and HSC.
  • Update the newsletter performance tracking spreadsheet monthly.
  • Update the nurture emails performance tracking spreadsheet as needed.
  • Compile and distribute a regular marketing performance summary covering social media analytics, email campaign metrics, tradeshow outcomes, and website traffic — providing the Director of Marketing with a consistent view of marketing activity and impact.
  • Ensure the latest versions of all marketing assets are maintained on the company website and in the Marketing SharePoint for each brand.
  • Assist with adding and updating web content (tagging, photos, etc.) as needed.
  • Monitor daily emails arriving in alternative inboxes and forward relevant contact updates (e.g., retired, new position, departures) to the appropriate team member for processing in Zoho CRM.
  • Facilitate content reviews with the marketing team and subject matter experts (SMEs); send reminders via email or calendar invites to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain updated bio sheets and consistent, branded headshots for all team members, ensuring they are current on the website and social channels.
  • Assist with the development of PowerPoint presentations for customer meetings, proposals, and other needs.
  • Maintain marketing contact lists and audience segments in Zoho CRM, including list hygiene, tagging, and ensuring accurate lead source attribution for campaign tracking purposes.
  • Serve as a day-to-day steward of brand standards across Americase and HazMat Safety Consulting — ensuring that all externally facing materials, templates, social graphics, and presentations conform to established brand guidelines and flagging inconsistencies for resolution.
  • Perform other marketing-related duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Marketing or senior leadership, recognizing that the scope of this role will evolve as the organization grows.
