Marketing Specialist

National Association For Education Of Young Children NAEYCWashington, DC
$60,000 - $80,000Hybrid

About The Position

If a campaign with six moving parts and three stakeholders sounds satisfying rather than stressful — if you're the one who catches the missing UTM parameter and the typo in the subject line before anyone else does — keep reading. NAEYC advances high-quality early learning for children birth through age 8. As our Marketing Specialist, you'll be the connective layer between strategy and execution — keeping integrated campaigns on track, coordinating handoffs across teams, and serving as the last quality checkpoint before anything goes live. You'll manage your own workstreams, hold deadlines firm without needing to be told twice, and take real ownership from brief to deployment.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years coordinating campaigns or projects, ideally with the discipline to keep multiple deadlines straight without dropping a detail.
  • Comfort with project management and marketing platforms (Asana, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Clean, on-brand writing instincts, and fluency with AI-assisted content tools as part of a modern workflow.
  • A self-directed streak — you take ownership of your work and follow through without hand-holding.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign timelines and the marketing calendar — coordinating handoffs across marketing, communications, and creative services, and enforcing deadlines with every partner along the way.
  • Quality control on assets before they deploy, plus coordination with the Senior Creative Design Manager on briefs and delivery.
  • On-brand copy across email, landing pages, social, and ad campaigns — adapted precisely for each audience segment.
  • Campaign deployment support in HubSpot, including conversion tracking and data needs.
  • Post-launch recaps and performance tracking that sharpen the next campaign.
