About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our growing marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will provide hands-on support across multiple marketing functions — including content, campaigns, digital marketing, events, and marketing operations. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Content Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, and Division Marketing Managers (Restoration and Maintenance) to execute marketing initiatives that increase awareness of The Valcourt Group and its sub-brands, support revenue growth, and maintain consistent brand standards. This role is ideal for an early-career marketer with 1–3 years of experience who is eager to take on responsibility, learn quickly, and work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The right candidate will be a strong communicator and a collaborative teammate who can balance creativity with precision and follow-through.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail in copy, formatting, and brand alignment.
  • A self-starter mindset — resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working independently once given direction.
  • Experience with social media management platforms, such as SocialPilot.
  • Eagerness to learn and expand expertise in marketing automation, SEO tools, and project management systems.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic and problem-solving ability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in marketing or related functions (internships and entry-level experience considered if relevant).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, content creation, social media management, and campaign execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B or service-based organizations a plus.
  • Experience with design tools, such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Campaign & Content Execution Write and edit content for social media, email, flyers, project profiles, presentations, websites, and other marketing assets.
  • Build and deploy email campaigns, newsletters, and social media posts using approved templates and tools.
  • Design social media and email graphics, as well as create collateral for our brands using existing design templates.
  • Support content management by organizing and updating marketing repositories.
  • Digital & Social Media Manage social media calendar, scheduling, posting, and engagement tracking.
  • Conduct keyword and SEO research to support website and campaign optimization.
  • Assist with updates to websites, Google Business Profiles, and online review management.
  • Events & Tradeshows Support our Marketing Managers with the coordination of national and regional tradeshows, webinars, and events.
  • Assist with pre- and post-event communications, attendee lists, and event cost tracking.
  • Marketing Operations & Administration Manage lists, upload data, and assist with marketing automation campaigns in Pardot/Account Engagement.
  • Maintain marketing image galleries, shared assets, and Monday.com project boards.
  • Ensure marketing operations processes are efficient, accurate, and well-documented
