About The Position

The Marketing and Communications Specialist plays a key role in supporting the organization’s internal and external communication efforts. This position is responsible for the development and execution of internal communications, management and monitoring of social media channels, coordination and support of employee engagement initiatives, and other tactical communications tasks that contribute to a cohesive brand and employee experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written communication skills, a strong ability to work cross-functionally across teams, and demonstrate a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. This role is vital to ensuring clear, consistent, and engaging messaging across the organization.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products and services.
  • Analyzes marketing and promotional needs, and designs and implements marketing communications strategies that support organizational objectives.
  • Drafts marketing communications, including promotional publications, presentations, advertisements, or brochures.
  • Reviews and edits messages to ensure that they are clear, thorough, on-brand, and seek to preserve the company's image.
  • Suggests ways of tailoring messages and delivery channels based on the targeted audience.
  • Collects data on the performance of specific communications or campaigns.
  • Assists in the production of print, online, or other forms of advertisement, and assists with special events or promotions.
