Position Summary Applied Digital is rapidly expanding its infrastructure footprint across the United States, building high-performance data centers and AI compute campuses in communities large and small. As we grow, we need strong executional support to ensure our Marketing and External Affairs teams show up consistently and professionally in every market. We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist who will serve as a key support partner to External Affairs. This person will focus on building collateral, supporting events, and keeping projects moving forward behind the scenes. This is an ideal role for someone earlier in their career who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, polished materials.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, event coordination, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail
  • Experience developing marketing materials (PowerPoint, one-pagers, event collateral, etc.)
  • Experience supporting or coordinating events (corporate, community, or marketing events)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable taking direction while also being proactive in driving tasks forward
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support events or site needs
  • Clear verbal and written communication to document incidents and ensure proper shift handoffs.
  • Ability to work closely with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Flexible in responding to changes in process, tools, environment, and shift assignments.
  • Takes ownership of assigned tasks and follows through with minimal supervision.
  • Maintains thorough and accurate logs, inspections, records, and documentation.
  • Manages time effectively to meet performance expectations and service levels.
  • Adheres to company policies, safety protocols, and professional ethics always.
  • Recommends and supports efficiency, safety, and system innovations.
  • Maintains clear, consistent records for operational continuity and compliance.
  • Maintains awareness of data center physical and logical security expectations.
  • Uses productivity tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Excel, ticketing systems) for communication and documentation in office or hybrid settings.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update a wide range of materials including presentations, fact sheets, event invitations, signage, and community-facing content.
  • Coordinate logistics for community events, open houses, and stakeholder meetings (e.g., invitations, materials, vendors, run-of-show documents), partnering closely with External Affairs and site teams.
  • Help manage timelines, track deliverables, and ensure materials are completed accurately and on time across multiple sites.
  • Work with EA leads to gather inputs and translate them into clear, consistent marketing materials that reflect local needs.
  • Assist in drafting and refining basic messaging, talking points, and communications for community engagement—primarily supporting senior team members.
  • Maintain and organize templates, shared assets, and marketing resources to ensure consistency and efficiency as new sites are added.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, external affairs, and operations to ensure alignment and smooth execution of deliverables.
