About The Position

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist for a 12-month contract to work at Nespresso, in Montreal, reporting to the Product Manager, B2C Promotional Activations. This position will support the product management team in developing the marketing strategy in line with brand and company objectives. As a Marketing Specialist, you will have an excellent opportunity to contribute to business development and sales objectives, focusing on, but not limited to, three areas of responsibility: B2C promotional plan development, communication plans, and budget management. You will work daily with cross-functional teams to achieve your projects, with a lot of autonomy and coaching to truly thrive.

  • Experience working in a dynamic environment, ability to handle pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in business in marketing or management
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience with proven experience in marketing or a similar role in fast-moving consumer goods or luxury goods
  • Bilingual French and English (written and spoken)
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of the B2C coffee promotional plan with an OMNI channel approach in partnership with all cross-functional teams (E-Commerce, Retail, Brand, CRC, CRM, Supply Chain, Finance, IT…)
  • Perform analyses of promotional activations, including daily sales tracking, and formulate recommendations to support the development of the promotional plan; from defining promotional mechanics, targeting, to presenting to channels for alignment and validation of sales forecasts
  • Contribute to the planning and development of gift-with-purchase sales forecasts with recommendations and alignment with cross-functional teams
  • Plan and ensure inventory management of gift-with-purchase to ensure accuracy and provide recommendations on stock depletion activations in collaboration with Supply Chain and channels
  • Develop and implement integrated and impactful communication plans aligned with brand strategy and business objectives by collaborating closely with channels (E-commerce, Retail) to support sales objectives and generate a high conversion rate.
  • Proactively provide recommendations to optimize communication plans and reinforcement plans when necessary to have a significant business impact.
  • Lead the development and implementation of creatives with agencies as well as with channels to ensure consistent campaigns integrated into brand experiences and leverage cross-selling opportunities to provide a complete 360-degree customer experience (coffee, accessories, machines, etc).
  • Continuously propose innovative ideas by analyzing market trends and competitive benchmarks of luxury brands to establish best practices and elevate the 360-degree customer experience in line with our brand positioning.
  • Contribute to budget accuracy (purchase order process, product creation, and invoice tracking)
