About The Position

The position is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and creating a welcoming, engaging atmosphere at Glacier Peaks Casino. This role serves as a key point of interaction between the organization and its guests, ensuring all experiences align with the casino’s mission of providing an exciting and rewarding entertainment environment. The marketing representative actively engages with guests and team members, supports marketing initiatives, and contributes to promoting the casino through guest interaction, market feedback, and participation in promotional activities. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with events and jackpot celebrations, making announcements, gathering customer feedback, and supporting marketing campaigns. This role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle guest concerns effectively while maintaining a positive, safe, and organized environment. Collaboration with team members and departments is essential to achieving overall service and marketing objectives.

Requirements

MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.
MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE, FAMILIAR WITH IBM OR COMPATIBLE SOFTWARE TO INCLUDE: MICROSOFT OFFICE, EXCEL, AND OUTLOOK SYSTEMS.
MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
MUST BE TACTFUL, AND HAVE EXCELLENT GUEST SERVICE SKILLS.
MUST POSSESS THE ABILITY TO ESTABLISH PRIORITIES, WORK INDEPENDENTLY, HANDLE AND RESOLVE PROBLEMS AND CONFLICTS, ETC.
MUST BE ABLE TO STAND OR WALK FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.
MUST BE ABLE TO BEND, KNEEL AND REACH. USE OF HANDS, WRISTS, AND FINGERS ASSOCIATED WITH COMPUTER USAGE.
Must be able to lift 40Lbs.
MUST MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY AT ALL TIMES AND BE FLEXIBLE WITH SHIFT AND DAYS OFF.
MUST BE ABLE TO MEET GLACIER PEAKS CASINO INTERNAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A GAMING LICENSE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REGULATIONS ESTABLISHED BY THE NIGC GAMING COMMISSION.

Responsibilities

Represents Glacier Peaks Casino in the most positive manner with internal and external guests to satisfy service expectations.
Interacts effectively with a diverse group of guests and Team Members, learns and uses operating practices of the department and the organization.
Upholds Glacier Peaks’ Mission statement in all aspects of the position, by providing guests with an exciting and rewarding entertainment experience, through exceptional customer service and hospitality.
Greets guests with professionalism and a friendly smile.
Conducts market research, engages with customers, and collaborates with other teams to achieve marketing objectives.
Assists and maintains a comfortable and positive environment for all guests that enter the facility, as well as other employees.
Assists marketing staff on special promotions when necessary.
When unable to handle a complaint, calls supervisor or shift manager or appropriate marketing personnel, in order to resolve issues in a professional manner.
Creates a fun and exciting atmosphere (in a professional and polite manner), by making overhead announcements of birthdays, promotional winners, and gaming winners.
Assists guests with jackpot wins, takes photographs, and attempts to get a release form signed so that the winner information can be used for promotional purposes.
Solicits guest feedback by direct interaction and comment cards.
Maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe and comfortable work environment for employees and guests.
Performs all other duties as assigned from time to time.
