The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution, coordination, and compliance of marketing activities. This role serves as a central point of support for project workflow management, social media operations, asset coordination, reporting support, and compliance approvals. The position works cross-functionally with marketing, brand, compliance, purchasing, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of marketing initiatives. This role is detail-oriented, with responsibility for managing system workflows, timelines, and documentation that enable the broader marketing team to function efficiently and consistently across platforms and brands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
  • Proficiency with social media networks such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Ability to use bank-specific software such as Wrike, Kadince, Sprout, Concur, IBS, Workday, etc.
  • Ability to develop proficiency with social media applications and management systems.
  • Ability to promote the Bank's culture, including the support of its Brand promise and Core Values.
  • Ability and judgment to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees, customers and supervisor.
  • Ability to serve customers, both internal and external, (community/public) in a manner that will reflect superior customer relations and enhance the overall marketing effort of Origin Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Marketing team initiatives across brands, platforms, and concurrent projects, requiring strong prioritization and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Owns and executes assigned marketing workflows and documentation processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance while working independently within established processes.
  • Manages Marketing inbox requests and inquiries, distributing to marketing team utilizing project management system to capture projects.
  • Documents stakeholder requests, compliance approvals, and feedback within the project management system to support accurate project tracking.
  • Creates and updates projects in the project management system where needed, helping prioritize and communicate timelines and expectations with teammates and stakeholders.
  • Submits marketing materials through compliance approval software to ensure documented approval and relays feedback from compliance to marketing team as needed.
  • Coordinates with marketing team to ensure purchasing portal consists of updated materials, working with purchasing department to add and remove assets as needed.
  • Manages print production, collaborating with print partners to place orders, supporting distribution timelines and communications as needed.
  • Manages and archives data from FIS, Google, Domo and other sources as needed for inclusion in monthly and quarterly reporting delivered to markets and the board.
  • Supports the social media community management and platform monitoring, escalating messages and complaints as needed.
  • Supports the reviewing and scheduling of social media content, managing tags for reporting purposes, as well as uploading Bank content for compliance approval prior to publishing posts, communicating edits as requested.
  • Supports administrative duties within compliance approval and project management systems as needed.
  • Provides organizational and logistical support for Brand Team initiatives such as annual Culture Celebrations and other special projects as needed.
  • Processes Marketing invoices accurately and timely.
