Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Marketing Project Coordinator for their Corporate Marketing Department. The right candidate will combine creative thinking with performance analysis and project management to drive growth across a suite of online products that will support the marketing activities of the various home builder divisions of D.R. Horton, Inc. Their role is to plan and execute projects according to strict deadlines and within budget set by management. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. They will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. They will work with a variety of vendors on multiple projects and campaigns at a time. Must work within tight deadlines and budget(s) and have excellent communication and time management skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two to four years in Communication, Marketing or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience creating, managing and analyzing a suite of online products in a marketing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Should exhibit creativity and resourcefulness.
  • Able to take calculated and bold initiatives to meet the expectations of clients effectively
  • Should have excellent effectual communication skills
  • Should be able to communicate insight and ideas effectively
  • Should have effective people skills to deal with clients (internal & external)
  • Self-confident and outgoing personality
  • Should be an expert in forwarding thinking, market research, and should possess problem-solving skills
  • Ability to listen to intended details attentively
  • 2+ years of interactive experience either in an agency or corporate environment
  • 3+ years of experience managing production of online content.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Work with third-party vendors to define content strategy, tactics, roadmap and milestones
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas
  • Ability to translate business and technical concepts into functional specification documents
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Assist in other Corporate marketing initiatives on an as needed basis
