About The Position
This position is not available for visa sponsorship. At Netsmart, we're passionate about using technology to make a meaningful impact in healthcare. We partner with organizations across the country that provide mental health and addiction treatment, intellectual and developmental disability support, senior living, home health, hospice, palliative care, and other essential human services. Through innovation and collaboration, we help caregivers and providers deliver better outcomes and improve the lives of the individuals and communities they serve. Our Futures Program is designed for students who want to gain real-world experience while making a meaningful impact. During this 10-week summer experience, participants work on hands-on projects, build connections with leaders and associates across Netsmart, and take part in professional development, networking, and social events. As a Future, you'll gain valuable skills, explore healthcare technology, and experience a culture built on collaboration, innovation, and purpose, all while contributing to work that truly matters. If you aren't local to the Kansas City Metro, we will have housing options for you available (certain criteria will have to be met to qualify for housing).
Requirements
- Rising Junior with graduation date for bachelors or masters December 2028, May 2029
- Effective and efficient communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule a high workload
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
- All applicants for employment must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with program administration, program development or program management
- Experience managing financial budgets and/or accounting tasks
Responsibilities
- Support the development and management of internal and external programs to deliver business-aligned outcomes.
- Apply best practice methodologies in program development and management
- Responsible for completion of program tasks and deliverables, development of business processes to meet program objectives
- Coordinate with cross functional groups and business stakeholders to ensure program deliverables are met
- Create and maintain reporting on program performance against defined goals and objectives
