About The Position

The Marketing Partnerships Coordinator is an entry-level position designed for an organized, detail-oriented professional looking to build a career in sports marketing, partnership activation, communications and brand management. This role supports the execution of strategic marketing initiatives, corporate partner programs, and race-weekend activations that strengthen brand visibility, enhance fan engagement, and deliver meaningful value to partners. Working closely with internal teams, corporate partners, and external resources, this role supports day-to-day partnership initiatives, event logistics, partner and team communications, branded asset coordination, merchandise programs, and operational planning throughout the race season. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced motorsports environment while gaining valuable hands-on experience and opportunities for professional growth and development within the sports marketing industry. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing, sports marketing, communications, brand management, partnerships, event coordination, or project management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in sports marketing, corporate partnerships, event activations, or the motorsports industry.
  • Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas that enhance marketing initiatives, partner value, and fan engagement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with internal teams, partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and race events as needed.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, learn new processes, and thrive in a high-energy, deadline-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship experience in sports, entertainment, or related industries is preferred.
  • Experience with Airtable, Greenfly, or other digital asset management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively research and identify opportunities with non-racing industry media outlets to develop and pitch compelling stories that increase 23XI brand awareness.
  • Provide race weekend communications support and serve as a backup resource for partner communications, media needs, and internal coordination.
  • Support licensed merchandise programs, including product ordering, asset submissions, quality control, vendor communication, and inventory management.
  • Assist with planning and execution of partner activations, hospitality experiences, events, tours, production days, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Toyota and TSMGI on partner show car requests, ensuring proper communication, scheduling, and fulfillment.
  • Submit weekly NASCAR credentials and monitor partner registration completion, following up with guests to ensure all requirements are completed prior to race weekends.
  • Support the partner paint scheme approval process, including: Coordinating communication with decal production groups, submitting approved designs through the NASCAR portal, requesting 3D renderings from Tricon, and sharing final artwork with NASCAR, broadcast partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain production schedule templates and weekly timelines to support partnership deliverables and race-week execution.
  • Prepare and distribute partner itineraries, including schedules, hospitality details, and race-weekend information for primary partners.
  • Assist with inventory management for team hats, Victory Lane hats, partner crew shirts, and other branded merchandise, including: Coordinating artwork creation for new partners, managing reorders and vendor communication, preparing merchandise for race weekends, packing Victory Lane hat bags, and distributing crew shirts, hats, and partner materials to teams and personnel.
  • Submit and manage partner event approval requests through Airtable for Airspeed events, including gathering event details, responding to committee questions, and supporting the approval process.
  • Support partner events, facility tours, production days, and special experiences hosted at Airspeed.
  • Manage weekly body panel inventory to ensure partner branding materials are tracked and available.
  • Organize and distribute sponsor photography following meet-and-greets and race weekends.
  • Create partner win folders and ensure sponsor assets are organized and available through Greenfly.
  • Coordinate with the content team to ensure partner photos and digital assets are properly uploaded, organized, and accessible.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure marketing deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
