The Behavioral Health Outreach Specialist is responsible for developing, strengthening, and maintaining professional referral relationships within the healthcare and behavioral health community. This position focuses on increasing organizational visibility, referral development, census growth, and community engagement through consistent outreach and professional relationship-building efforts. The Outreach Specialist serves as a representative of the organization and is expected to establish and maintain productive working relationships with medical providers, nurse practitioners, physician offices, medical assistants, clinic coordinators, discharge planners, therapists, case managers, hospitals, schools, community agencies, and other healthcare professionals. This role requires strong interpersonal communication skills, professionalism, strategic outreach efforts, and the ability to effectively promote behavioral health services while fostering trust and collaboration with referral partners.
