Their focus is on building efficient processes and workflows to ensure an efficient and seamless execution of our initiatives as well as administrating supporting systems. The Marketing Operations Process Specialist Contractor is responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining the processes, workflows, and systems that enable marketing teams to execute efficiently and scale effectively. This role acts as a critical liaison between global marketing, sales, and technology teams—ensuring seamless program execution, accurate data flow, and operational excellence across the marketing organization. This specialist will analyze workflow gaps, build or refine process documentation, champion operational excellence best practices, and support the martech infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Marketing Operations, Process Optimization, Project Management, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with marketing technologies such as automation platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Monday.com).
  • Excellent process documentation and workflow mapping skills (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro, Visio).
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Operational Excellence – Passion for structure, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Problem Solving – Ability to dissect ambiguous challenges and build actionable solutions.
  • Collaboration – Works seamlessly across teams and levels.
  • Detail Orientation – Maintains a high level of accuracy in process and documentation work.
  • Adaptability – Thrives in dynamic environments with evolving priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B/B2C marketing environments or fast-paced operational teams.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications.
  • 1-3 years Change Management experience or like certifications
  • Understanding of revenue operations concepts and cross-functional dependencies.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in development, documenting, and maintaining scalable end-to-end marketing processes that support campaign execution, lead management, content operations, and reporting.
  • Identify inefficiencies and operational bottlenecks; propose solutions that increase speed, accuracy, and collaboration.
  • Build workflow maps, SOPs, and operational playbooks for cross-functional teams.
  • Own process governance and ensure adherence to established standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand system and workflow requirements.
  • Support optimization of key martech platforms (e.g., marketing automation, CRM, project management tools).
  • Troubleshoot process or data flow issues between systems and escalate to technical teams as needed.
  • Manage process-related initiatives, including intake, prioritization, resourcing, and timelines.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops and trainings to introduce new processes or improve existing ones.
  • Ensure efficient collaboration between content, creative, digital marketing, operations, research and sales teams etc..
  • Support training cross-functional teams on updated workflows, systems, and operational best practices.
  • Create and maintain knowledge bases, guides, and onboarding materials.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for process-related questions and optimization excellence opportunities.
