About The Position

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit a Marketing & Operations Assistant to join a boutique creative studio focused on thoughtful brand storytelling and high-quality client work. This team values organization, follow-through, and strong internal systems as the foundation for great creative outcomes. This is a hands-on, support-driven role that blends marketing coordination with studio operations. The Marketing & Operations Assistant plays a key role in keeping projects organized, deadlines on track, and day-to-day operations running smoothly while supporting the creative team and overall client experience.

Requirements

  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Comfortable handling administrative and repeatable tasks with consistency and care
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across different projects and clients
  • Clear communication skills and reliable follow-through
  • Willingness to jump in and support the team wherever needed

  • Familiarity with project management tools
  • Experience supporting a marketing team, creative studio, or small business
  • Comfort working with social media platforms or scheduling tools
  • Basic understanding of marketing workflows or content production

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update project assignments, task lists, and reminders in Basecamp
  • Perform routine project check-ins to help keep work moving forward
  • Support lead tracking and maintain basic CRM or spreadsheet updates
  • Assist with social media logistics, including calendaring social media holidays and industry-specific dates by client
  • Track event listings and reminders for upcoming content opportunities
  • Transcribe video and audio content for internal use or content development
  • Assist with content uploads and basic formatting within CMS platforms (training provided)
  • Mark spam and assist with basic inbox or website cleanup
  • Coordinate calendars and reminders for internal and client-facing deadlines
  • Order print materials and promotional items for clients
  • Order and maintain studio supplies and inventory
  • Assist with general office upkeep, including taking out garbage, vacuuming common areas, restocking supplies, and watering plants
  • Help ensure tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups do not fall through the cracks
  • Support a smooth, professional client experience through strong organization and reliability
  • Assist with repeatable tasks that free up time for the creative team
  • Pitch in as needed to support the team during busy periods
