About The Position

Midwest Hose is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Marketing & Operations Assistant to support our website operations and branded gear store fulfillment. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working hands-on, and supporting both marketing and operational tasks. This position focuses heavily on order processing, inventory coordination, and website updates. No prior experience is required — just a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and interest in learning. Part-time or full-time scheduling options are available based on availability.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable, punctual, and organized
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office or similar programs)
• Willingness to learn new tools and systems
• Interest in marketing, e-commerce, or business operations
• No previous marketing or operations experience required — training will be provided

• Exposure to WordPress or website content management systems
• Experience working in retail, warehouse, shipping, or customer service

Responsibilities

• Process online gear store orders accurately and efficiently
• Pick and pack merchandise from inventory
• Prepare shipping labels and coordinate outgoing shipments
• Monitor inventory levels and notify leadership when restocking is needed
• Maintain organized storage and fulfillment areas
• Assist with uploading and updating product information on the website
• Support website-related tasks and help track project progress
• Help ensure online content is accurate and aligned with company standards
• Provide basic reporting or status updates (training provided)
• Assist with additional marketing or administrative tasks as needed
