About The Position

Restaurant Associates is the industry’s leading provider of dining and event catering for some of the nation's most prestigious museums, performing arts centers and corporations. This position is eligible for an Employee Referral Bonus. Restaurant Associates is home to elevated corporate cafés, dynamic food halls, curated retail dining, and best-in-class catering operations — and we're looking for a creative, operationally sharp marketer to help bring it all to life for a busy national portfolio (NYC based). Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing or merchandising within hospitality, food & beverage, or retail.
  • Track record of creative execution backed by operational discipline.
  • Strong design sensibility.
  • Clean and compelling writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without letting anything slip through the cracks.
  • Comfortable presenting to a client and rolling up sleeves to get a café set up for a seasonal launch.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field (equivalent professional experience is welcomed).

Responsibilities

  • Develop seasonal promotions, build merchandising programs, design collateral, and manage a monthly marketing calendar in close collaboration with culinary, operations, and client teams.
  • Create and oversee digital and printed menus, signage, kiosk and mobile app visuals, and marketing templates that reflect premium brand standards.
  • Develop merchandising guidelines and planograms for food, beverage, and retail spaces with equal attention to aesthetics and function.
  • Manage vendor communications and the ordering process for merchandising elements, smallwares, uniforms, and signage fixtures.
  • Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance, sharing insights with operations, corporate marketing, and clients.
  • Contribute to annual business planning, support new account openings and transitions, lead monthly marketing meetings with key stakeholders, and stay ahead of emerging trends in hospitality, retail, design, and consumer behavior.
