Dobbs Tire and Auto Centers was founded in 1976 as a family-owned complete auto care solution in South St. Louis, Missouri. The Dobbs brand has experienced significant growth, expanding to over 100 locations across Missouri, Illinois, Texas and Ohio with future growth goals to over 200 stores by 2027. Along with offering a full selection of quality tire brands, all locations provide comprehensive automotive services, from routine maintenance to complex diagnostics and engine repairs. We are looking for a strategic, brand-focused marketing leader who can bring integrated campaigns to life while protecting and elevating our brands across every channel. This role owns the planning and execution of media, promotions, and sports sponsorships, partnering closely with agencies to deliver compelling, on-brand storytelling. You’ll use consumer insights, performance data, and financial acumen to optimize ROI, manage budgets, and maintain brand P&L ownership. Working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and digital teams, you’ll ensure every campaign is cohesive, impactful, and built to move both the brand and the business forward.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in brand management, marketing strategy, or consumer promotions, often with experience in the relevant industry (e.g., CPG, tech).
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor assistant brand managers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

  • Experience in Multi-brand organizations and automotive retail marketing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term marketing campaigns, media plans, and promotional calendars to strengthen market position and drive growth.
  • Lead integrated media planning, including traditional media and sports sponsorships, from briefing through creative review and execution with agency partners.
  • Own the end-to-end development of 360-degree marketing campaigns, aligning creative, media strategy, and consumer promotions across channels.
  • Serve as a steward of the brand, ensuring all marketing, content, and promotional efforts align with established brand voice, positioning, and identity across multiple brands.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and campaign KPIs to optimize ROI, monitor brand health, and communicate performance results.
  • Manage marketing budgets and forecasts while maintaining ownership and accountability for brand-level P&L.
  • Partner cross-functionally with sales, product, operations, and finance teams to support product launches and local marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with CRM and digital marketing teams to ensure messaging consistency, accuracy, and alignment across all customer touchpoints.
  • Oversee external creative, PR, and media agencies and vendors to ensure high-quality, on-time execution of marketing initiatives.
