About The Position

This role partners closely with business development, delivery teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to shape and execute high-impact marketing strategies that drive customer adoption and usage across the payments ecosystem. You’ll lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives focused on improving client experience, increasing efficiency, and delivering measurable business outcomes. Acting as a trusted marketing advisor, you’ll bring strategic perspective, operational rigor, and hands-on execution to programs spanning strategy through delivery and optimization.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive marketing experience
  • Deep expertise across multiple marketing disciplines, including brand, product, performance, research, content, social, influencer, sponsorship, and events
  • Strong understanding of payments and financial services, including consumer and small business segments across debit, credit, prepaid, and commercial solutions
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence across senior stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams
  • Experience structuring and leading complex initiatives involving multiple internal and external partners
  • Highly effective in matrixed organizations, with a track record of collaboration and influence
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into tactical, executable plans
  • Creative problem-solver with a focus on prioritization, resource optimization, and driving measurable results
  • Comfortable operating with limited direction in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Leadership experience in agency and/or consulting settings delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing programs
  • Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills; experienced engaging senior and C-suite audiences

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business development, delivery teams, and internal partners to develop and present marketing strategies that drive growth, adoption, and usage
  • Lead cross-functional stakeholder groups to enhance client experience while improving operational efficiency and cost to deliver
  • Serve as a senior marketing advisor and subject matter expert for external partners across the payments ecosystem (e.g., merchants, issuers, fintechs, processors)
  • Design and scale marketing frameworks that improve speed to market, ensure consistency, and enable high-quality execution
  • Provide marketing thought leadership and strong program management across research and insights, strategy development, campaign execution, optimization, and measurement
  • Act as the escalation point for marketing delivery issues, owning resolution and stakeholder alignment
  • Build, deepen, and sustain long-term client relationships, positioning the marketing organization as a trusted partner of choice
