About The Position

CreditWise is Capital One’s free credit and identity monitoring tool, available to both customers and ‘pre-customers.’ CreditWise is transforming its business over the next several years, taking an incredibly strong 65M user portfolio and monetization strategy and supercharging it by expanding the value proposition and user value. Help us tell the story of that transformation, internally and externally, driving results through new enrollments, customer engagement and monetization, all while embodying our Mission to Change Banking for Good. We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will be responsible to support and lead our engagement strategy. The highly visible, strategic role is responsible for building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and partners to bring brand-defining storytelling and campaign to life through a variety of channels. In this role you will get to develop strategies for various marketing campaigns that drive engagement and monetization of offers. The ideal candidate will have proven experience translating performance data into actionable marketing strategies, navigating matrixed organizations, and working with both internal partners and media agencies. To be successful, the Marketing Manager will need to thrive working in white space, building powerful cross-functional relationships and turning analytics into actionable marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 5 years experience in marketing across multiple platforms
  • At least 5 years of experience with marketing analytics and optimization
  • At least 3 years experience with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio or internal data tools, cMAB testing in email marketing

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of agency or agency management experience
  • Channel expertise in email, in-app and push notification marketing
  • 3+ years of marketing experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry
  • 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with a track record of effectively working autonomously and navigating ambiguity
  • Experience translating customer insights and analytics into marketing strategies
  • Experience leading project or campaigns within a marketing organization
  • Experience creating and presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership audiences

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and execution of a strategic marketing agenda to engage our customers to take action
  • Drive testing strategies to inform targeting, creative, & landing page optimization that engage consumers and drive business results
  • Lead relationship with our channel partners, ensuring strategies are aligned to business priorities and campaigns are efficient and effective
  • Steward the maintenance and monitoring of our email campaigns with internal analysts and product partners
  • Lead the execution of cMAB within our email marketing and servicing campaigns
  • Keep pace with the industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in marketing channels with a focus on engagement and offer monetization.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to junior team members.
