About The Position

Boston Pizza International is seeking a Marketing Manager, Brand Programs to join their team. This is a hybrid role based in Mississauga, ON, ideally suited for candidates in the Greater Toronto Area. The Marketing Manager, Brand Programs will lead the day-to-day planning, development, execution, and measurement of national marketing programs. This role translates brand objectives into advertising campaigns, media plans, and restaurant-ready programs, ensuring alignment with internal and external partners and providing clear execution information to all Boston Pizza restaurants. The position requires a blend of creative thinking, strategic instincts, and an understanding of the restaurant business, fostering strong working relationships within a cross-functional team.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in marketing or related experience.
  • Strong communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to cater communications to a wide variety of audiences (franchisees, executive team, etc.).
  • Ability to manage complex lists of deliverables.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.

  • Experience working with (or at) an advertising agency or media agency.
  • Knowledge of digital media, media performance metrics, and the traditional media landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and measure the performance of each on-premises Marketing program through collaboration with internal cross-functional team members and external partners.
  • Act as the main day-to-day point of contact with BP agency partners (advertising, P.R., media), ensuring an organized flow of communication.
  • Oversee the development of communications (written, video, etc.) to restaurants on the specific details of each Marketing program.
  • Maintain the Marketing program workback schedules to ensure all key timelines are met.
  • Oversee all logistics related to photoshoots and other productions.
  • Stay abreast of media and advertising industry trends to ensure that Boston Pizza’s Marketing programs remain industry-leading and highly impactful.
  • Lead periodic reporting on key program metrics including sales performance, media performance and restaurant feedback, to be shared with key internal stakeholders.
  • Build and publish post-reports and share key learnings, to inform future Marketing programs.
