About The Position

Property Management, Inc. (PMI) is seeking a full-time Marketing and Leasing Associate to join their growing, employee-owned company. This role will support onsite and corporate leadership in addressing marketing challenges and leasing development, while ensuring excellent customer service for clients and potential residents. PMI manages over $4 billion in real estate assets and has a long-standing history of over 55 years in business.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing or leasing experience in the property management industry.
  • Ability to set tangible goals aligned with company strategy and create, execute, evaluate, and adjust action plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets.
  • Computer proficiency, including Excel reporting, database development, PowerPoint presentations, and property management software (Yardi preferred).
  • Valid PA Driver's License and reliable, insured transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • A valid PA Real Estate License is preferred, but not required. PMI will pay for you to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze financial reports, lead generation data, traffic to closing ratios, and other operational reports to identify and resolve issues impacting leasing, marketing, and NOI performance.
  • Collaborate with portfolio leadership to develop and implement action plans to address vacancy shortfalls for Conventional, Student, and Affordable assets.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis and lead research, both portfolio-wide and locally, to understand trends, market conditions, competitor landscape, and external factors influencing strategic direction.
  • Assist property operations in developing targeted marketing strategies, oversee implementation, and monitor ILS campaigns for individual communities.
  • Partner with the training department to train community team members on marketing techniques, soft skills, and closing strategies.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering calls, sorting mail, scanning files, and managing help desk tickets.
  • Occasionally provide support by working at rental offices during position vacancies.
  • Drive to various portfolio locations for photography, staging, marketing evaluations, with occasional overnight travel as needed.
