About The Position

This 12-week internship offers a hands-on experience in marketing within the agricultural sector. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, take on meaningful projects, and understand how marketing connects to the business, customers, and the future of agriculture. The program aims to provide exposure to various aspects of the seed business and explore career paths in agriculture and marketing. Interns will develop practical skills in networking, project management, event planning, communication, and collaboration, with ongoing feedback and support from professionals.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Communications, Marketing, Sales or related fields.
• Ability to work required hours.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet motor vehicle requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice To Haves

• Be a rising Junior/Senior (preferred).
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support event management for key company events, including National Sales Kickoff and Dealer Kickoff meetings.
• Build hands-on skills in event budgeting, vendor/venue management, branding/creative development, content creation and communications, as well as project management skills.
• Create engaging content for newsletters, websites, and social media.
• Partner with Brand Marketing, Commercial, Agronomy and other cross-functional teams to gain a broader understanding of the role marketing plays in pushing the needle forward.
