2027 Marketing Internship
About The Position
Americo Life Insurance and Imperial PFS are co-hosting a paid, 10-week summer internship in Kansas City from June through August 2027. This onsite internship offers hands-on work experience, business projects, mentoring, professional development, team-building activities, and opportunities to network with professionals and interns across both companies. The program includes exposure to the Executive Leadership Team and an opportunity for conversion. The internship is in Marketing and may involve creating and coordinating digital and traditional content, supporting video production, reviewing materials for brand and advertising compliance, and working with Sales and other teams. Limited housing is available; applicants must be in the Kansas City area to be considered.
Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing a degree and remain fully enrolled in the program throughout the internship.
- Must be able to begin the internship in June in Kansas City.
- Must have freshman through senior standing at a four-year institution and be pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
- Must be able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Must be in the Kansas City area to be considered for this onsite internship.
- Able to use Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Self-directed, creative, and willing to go the extra mile for the team.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working with others.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Develop and assist with engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to align content with strategic goals.
- Maintain content calendars and ensure a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
- Monitor digital engagement and recommend improvements based on analytics and performance insights.
- Assist in planning, filming, and editing videos for sales, training, onboarding, promotional campaigns, and internal initiatives.
- Ensure videos meet brand standards and are optimized for web and social distribution.
- Contribute to digital and traditional marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, email campaigns, and website content.
- Write clear, engaging, brand-consistent copy tailored to different audiences and platforms.
- Support compliance review of agent-created materials and ensure content aligns with Americo’s branding and advertising guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings, campaign planning, and brainstorming sessions.
- Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks to support timely content delivery and marketing execution.
