About The Position

GuidePoint Security is seeking a Marketing Intern to support our Northwest Region. This internship offers the opportunity to learn and work with major marketing technologies such as SalesForce and Marketo. The ideal candidate will possess a curious mind, a strong willingness to learn, and excellent attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain practical experience in cybersecurity marketing.

Requirements

• Must reside within 20-25 miles from Portland, OR - preferred. Secondary - Boise, ID or Bay Area (CA).
• Must be eligible for full-time hire in early 2027.
• Must have experience working with a high sense of urgency, preferably in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Works well with a team.
• Organized and self-motivated.
• A creative thinker who isn't afraid to share new ideas and can bring fresh perspectives to event marketing, social media, and branded experiences.
• Have a personal computing device and access to high-speed internet during working hours.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CRM databases and Marketing Automation Platforms such as SalesForce and Marketo, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Northwest Marketing Team with day-to-day functions and provide administrative support as needed.
• Familiarize and begin to develop skills with the following platforms: Salesforce, Marketo, Monday.com, and Canva.
• Support the maintenance of registration lists and event calendars, providing necessary updates to the regional team.
• Assist with organizing and executing regional events.
• Submit campaign buildout tickets.
• Create and track sponsorship agreements.
• Help with promotional assets.
