About The Position

GuidePoint Security's Heartland Region is looking to hire a Marketing Intern. This remote/Kansas City based position requires occasional in-person support of local Kansas City marketing events, and administrative support of the regional marketing. You will learn and work with our major marketing platforms like SalesForce, Marketo, and ZoomInfo. The ideal candidate for this position will be positive, highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn while supporting a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

Requirements

  • Marketing, Business and/or related degree/experience preferred
  • Ability to work after normal business hours on occasion
  • Ability to lift boxes
  • Less than 10% of travel required
  • Strongly motivated to learn with direction or independently
  • Confident, curious and fun by nature

Responsibilities

  • Support Heartland Marketing Team with event logistics, to include: Procuring event reservations and supplies from third party vendors
  • Assist with creation of event invitations, and digital and print assets via Marketo, Canva, and printers
  • Promotional item management, shipping and handling of event materials and closet inventory support and organization
  • Support in ensuring deadlines are met for all event-related activities, purchases, promotions, and deliverables
  • Post-event organization and tracking of receipts, budget sheets, attendee lists, and photos
  • Lead collection and tracking
  • Research relevant industry events and trends within region
  • Support of day-to-day tasks and in-person meetings
  • Willingness to learn Salesforce and Marketo software
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed
  • Provide onsite support when needed - Kansas City only
  • Other related duties as needed
