Marketing Internship (Paid - Summer 2027)
About The Position
The Plexus Groupe is seeking a creative and driven Marketing Intern to join our team at our Deer Park, IL headquarters for the Summer of 2027. This paid internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of in-house marketing, including design, content creation, digital media, and event planning. Interns will collaborate on both internal and client-facing projects, gaining valuable insights into the insurance brokerage and risk management industry. The program runs from June 1st to July 30th, 2027, and includes opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and networking. Additionally, Plexus partners with the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB) on their scholarship program, allowing for an intern nomination for a monetary award.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Candidates entering their junior or senior year (Fall 2027) with a 3.0+ GPA
- Strong creative skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with or interest in WordPress, HubSpot, or other CMS/CRM tools
Nice To Haves
- Video production/editing experience
- Prior client service or marketing-related work experience
Responsibilities
- Creating engaging content for internal and external communications
- Designing graphics, presentations, and sales materials
- Assisting with social media strategy, scheduling, and content creation
- Supporting email campaigns, blogs, and newsletters
- Helping plan and promote company events
- Contributing to video, web, and multimedia projects
