About The Position

Dee Zee, Inc. is seeking a Summer 2027 Marketing Intern to support marketing, communications and brand initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will also help coordinate events and social activities for Dee Zee’s summer internship program. This internship will run approximately June 1 through September 3, 2027, with flexibility to adjust the start and end dates based on the selected candidate's availability. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. May involve occasional work in production areas, which can include exposure to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise levels, and fluctuating temperatures.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
• Interest in marketing, social media, content creation, and event planning.
• Strong written communication, organization, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and creating digital content.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with marketing content and materials for digital, social media, and other communication channels.
• Create engaging social media content and monitor performance across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Research market trends, competitors, and opportunities to increase Dee Zee’s brand visibility.
• Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and other department projects.
• Help plan and coordinate intern events and social activities, including communications, scheduling, logistics, and day-of support.
• Assist with photography, video, written content, and other creative projects as needed.
• Maintain Dee Dee brand standards across internal and external communications.
