The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands B&P, CCI, Federal Premium, Fiocchi, HEVI-Shot, Remington and Speer. A marketing intern supports the marketing department by executing campaigns, managing social media, project management, and assisting with content creation and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates are current students or recent graduates in marketing/communications with strong communication, creativity, and digital proficiency to help boost brand awareness and engagement. This position reports to the Marketing Director and is based out of our Anoka office.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for content creation and team collaboration.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive desire to learn.
U.S. citizen or national; U.S. lawful, permanent resident (a/k/a green card holder); Refugee under 8 U.S.C. Section 1157; or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. Section 1158 or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
Must not be convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year; not a fugitive from justice; not an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance; not adjudicated as a mental defective or committed to any mental institution; not an illegal alien; not discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions; not renounced U.S. Citizenship; not subject to a court order restraining the person from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of the intimate partner; not convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

Responsibilities

Create, schedule, and monitor content across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram).
Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and events.
Analyze competitor products, services, and digital content to identify market trends.
Draft copy for blog posts, newsletters, emails, and social media, ensuring brand consistency.
Assist with clerical tasks, including preparing reports, presentations, and maintaining databases.
